PI’s Advanced Positioning Systems for Microscopy and Imaging Applications

This video shows how advanced positioning systems from PI help to increase imaging quality and also enable easy positioning of complex samples. Microscope imaging applications require precise handling of complex samples as well as accurate and fast positioning of optical elements. Miniature hexapod 6 axis positioners from PI provide six degrees of freedom and have linear and rotator motion around all axes. They are simple to use and compact in size. The miniature Hexapod 6 can fit below many upright microscopes. It is fast, precise, and provides nanometer resolution. Miniature hexapod 6 axis positioners are suitable for two-photon microscopy, autofocus applications, and confocal Z stacks. The piezomotor technology used in the positioners enables smooth and fast motion. The advanced positioning systems from PI provide 1000 times magnification of complex samples.
