This video offers a glimpse of the PIMars range of nanopositioning stages by Physik Instrumente (PI). PI offers an extensive selection of high-precision nanopositioning systems for 3 linear axes as well as 6 axes (3 linear, 3 rotary). The stages have parallel kinematics / metrology for enhanced responsiveness and multi-axis precision. They have excellent screening flatness and feature a frictionless, high-precision flexure guiding system. Capacitive sensors ensure the highest linearity and stability. The nanopositioning stages are UHV-compatible to 10-9 hPa. They are used in scanning microscopy, super-resolution microscopy, biotechnology, mask/wafer positioning, sample positioning, interferometry, and metrology.
