Andor iXon Ultra Tutorial Series – Part 7

In this video, Colin Coates, Production Manager at Andor Technology, demonstrates the new spurious noise filter (SNF) functionality of the iXon.

This intelligent algorithm optionally filters the remaining clock-induced charge events from the background to achieve high EMCCD sensitivity. The SNF can be applied either in real time or post-processing.
