INK-B-GONE Announces Program to Help Breast Cancer Survivors Remove Radiation Tattoos

The Free Treatments Remove Radiation Tattoos That Are Permanently Applied During Breast Cancer Radiation Treatment

INK-B-GONE, leader in laser tattoo removal, is proud to announce a new program to help breast cancer survivors by offering complimentary removal of radiation tattoos.

Many post-chemo patients go on to radiation therapy where a radiation technician tattoos small marks/targets where the radiation will be administered each visit. These tattoos are applied similar to a ‘real’ tattoo, meaning the ink is permanently embedded in the skin.

The number of tattoos on a patient can range from one to several, each the size of a large freckle. It is difficult to imagine such a small mark can leave such a huge impact on a survivor’s daily life, a constant reminder that continues to haunt these women each time they exit the shower or get dressed.

INK-B-GONE Precision Laser Tattoo Removal centers boast a large clientele, with over 11,500 tattoo removal treatments done to date. Although their appointment books are extremely full, they are dedicating three hours per week to perform complimentary treatments for breast cancer survivors. Most treatments take only a few minutes, utilizing their unique tattoo removal process for SAFE Scar-free, Affordable, Fast, Effective removal.

INK-B-GONE takes pride in its effort of giving back to the community. In addition to this program, they also offer free or discounted services to many non-profit organizations including:

  • GRASP

  • Right of Passage

  • Goodwill Ministries

  • The Haven Women’s Center

  • Turning Point
