Rosetta Technologies, a leading provider of MICR printers and check and Image Replacement Document (IRD) software solutions, announced that customers using Rosetta’s IRDPrint software and MICR printers had collectively printed more than one billion IRDs. This threshold was crossed last month, according to meter readings collected from deployed systems.
Amtech Systems, Inc. In addition, Tempress also recently received a separate larger order for its solar diffusion systems from one existing customer, but is not able at this time to announce details of the order, including size and customer name, due to confidentiality restrictions. The $10 million in orders announced today do not include the larger order from one customer.
Trimble (Nasdaq: TRMB) introduced today version 6.5 of its Trimble® RealWorks(TM) software. The software provides an intuitive and efficient solution for integrating 3D laser scanner data into the plant lifecycle work process. Version 6.5 includes new features for the rapid management of 3D data including an automated target extraction and registration function for data collected with the Trimble FX(TM) and Trimble CX(TM) 3D laser scanners. Sony Corporation and RealD today announced a technology partnership aiming to provide immersive 3D home entertainment to consumers beginning in 2010. The pact includes Sony licensing the stereoscopic RealD Format, know-how in producing active and passive 3D eyewear and other RealD technologies.
