Toshiba Imaging Systems to Showcase High Definition Cameras at NAB 2010

Toshiba Imaging Systems Division (www.cameras.toshiba.com), the global leader in high definition (HD) camera technology for broadcast and entertainment, will showcase the family of High Def cameras during NAB 2010. The smallest, 3-chip HD remote camera head available, the IK-HD1 (only 1.6 inches and weighs 2.3 oz.) also delivers the clearest, true color imagery with 1920 x 1080 output at 30 frames per second, making it ideal for broadcast applications. This tiny camera is currently being used to capture high def footage on KTLA-TV’s news helicopters. It is also used on Discovery Channel’s hit TV quiz show series, “Cash Cab”.
