Lumina Power Launches New Products at Photonics West for Laser Diode Applications

This year's Photonics West show in San Francisco was attended by over 1100 exhibitors and 18,000 attendees. Lumina Power introduced several new products for laser diode applications along with additions to our XLB/MLB short-arc lamp power supply line.

The new board level laser diode drivers drew large numbers of visitors to the booth. These new low cost DC input power supplies are available in various power levels to 300 watts and can be operated in CW or pulsed mode. The new LDQCW series can output up to 200amp pulses and run at average power levels of over 100watts.

The newest addition to the short-arc lamp power supply line is the 650watt, XLB-650 with external igniter. This power supply fills the need for a lower power version of our popular XLB-1000 (1kW) supply and will easily operate traditional arc lamps and xenon Cermax lamps. All of our short arc lamp power supplies can be ordered for Xenon (XLB) or mercury (MLB) lamp operation.
