Centronic Releases New Infrared Photodiodes Line for 1 to 2.4 µm

Centronic announced at  Photonics West 2010 a new series of infrared photodiodes for the wavelength region 1µm to 2.4 µm.  The extended range InGaAs devices are available in a range of packages with and without thermoelectric cooling.

Centronic series 9IR photodiodes

Centronic series 9IR photodiodes offer high sensitivity in the mid infrared. They are fabricated using GaAlAsSb/GaInAsSb heterostructures and are particularly well suited to applications in the 1.8-2.3 &m range.

Packaging options include standard TO housings with or without thermoelectric cooling as well as chip on board.

  • Eyesafe designator detection
  • Impurity detection
  • Radiometry
