Evolution Solar Corp. (PinkSheets:EVSO) announced today that the Company has identified a University to establish a demonstration of cutting-edge thin film solar panels. The selected University offers a Renewable Energy Education Program, which served as an added benefit. The company is now proceeding with finalizing and negotiating the details of the project with the University.
“This is a great opportunity to work in concert with a university for mutual benefit,” stated Robert Hines, President of Evolution Solar Corp.
By co-locating at a University Evolution will have access to the new site for customer and industry demonstrations, while at the same time providing an opportunity for the solar engineers of tomorrow to experience and learn from the newest solar technologies.
The demonstration installation will help Evolution Solar to compete with larger industry players such as First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR), GT Solar Int. (NASDAQ: SOLR) and Trina Solar LTD (NYSE: TSL).
