Qioptiq Introduces New High-Performance Vision Metrology Systems

Qioptiq is proud to announce the introduction of a new line of high-performance vision metrology systems designed for streamlined user interface and maximum productivity in non-contact dimensional measurement.

The latest entry into the non-contact metrology market, The Fetura™ Vision Metrology System will be on demonstration at MD&M West, February 9-11 in Anaheim CA, on the Qioptiq Booth (#3158).

The new Fetura™ Vision Metrology System expands the boundaries of non-contact measurement with cutting-edge hardware and innovative software. Coupled with the world's fastest optical zoom technology, Fetura VMS features high-speed stage travel to deliver industry-leading dimensional measurement throughput.

PowerMetrix™ software includes color edge detection to measure dimensions based on subtle differences in hue, which could be very difficult to detect through grayscale imaging. Real-time intelligent light control adjusts optimum illumination levels automatically to compensate for variations in finish and surface color, and high-speed multipoint autofocus creates precise 3D surface maps.

Fetura Metrology Systems are available in four size models ranging from 200 x 200 x 200mm up to 800 x 800 x 250mm tables and offer options for high-speed laser scanning coupled with PowerMatch™ software for graphical analysis of point clouds to CAD models.
