Korean Researchers Improved Color Stability of White OLED

Researchers in Korea claim to have improved the color stability of white organic light-emitting diodes (WOLEDs) over a wide luminance range. The team says that stable color was observed between 100 cd/m2 and 10,000 cd/m2 without any change of color index or spectrum shape.

Scientists Discovered a Simple and Inexpensive Way for Patients to Keep Track of Patient Vision Loss

Scientists at Schepens Eye Research Institute have discovered a simple and inexpensive way for patients with retinal and other eye disease to keep track of changes in their vision loss. In a study published in this week's PLoS One (October 24, 2007) they demonstrate that a compelling visual illusion known as the induced twinkle after-effect (TAE) can accurately identify the location and breadth of actual blind spots in people with retinal disease.
