IrDA and VLCC Announces Research and Development Effort

Deal Creates the Country's Most Comprehensive Lighting Service Company

SYLVANIA Lighting Services (SLS), a subsidiary of lighting manufacturer OSRAM SYLVANIA, has signed an agreement to buy the operating assets of Amtech Lighting Services from ABM Industries Incorporated. The transaction is expected to close prior to Oct. 31, 2008, subject to customary closing conditions.

Systems Will Be Used to Manufacture LED Devices for Multiple Applications

Aviza Technology, Inc., a supplier of advanced semiconductor capital equipment and process technologies for the global semiconductor industry and related markets, today announced that it has received multiple orders from one of the world's leading optoelectronics manufacturers. Kotura Signs Development Contract with Sun Microsystems for DARPA's UNIC Program
