FEMTOLASERS has announced the new FEMTOSOURCE scientific XL 650 that is a powerful Chirped Pulse Oscillator. The oscillator is used in applications, which need higher pulse energies, such as multi-photon processes, coherent terahertz generation, materials processing, and time-resolved spectroscopy.
The XL 650 oscillator delivers more than 650 nJ in below 50 fs at MHz repetition rates. The oscillator has the capability to deliver more than 13 MW of peak power. The FEMTOSOURCE XL is a new range of compact, ultrafast, Ti:Sapphire oscillator systems. It is developed based on the company’s patented Chirped Pulse Oscillator technology. High levels of pulse energy are obtained by the oscillator as a chirped pulse circulates throughout the cavity.
The Dispersive Mirror technology of the oscillator ensures that the broadest bandwidth is offered directly from a high energy oscillator. The oscillator system delivers the highest pulse energies, and peak powers in combination with the shortest optical pulses.
