Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) has revealed that it has been qualified by the United States Naval Surface Warfare Center, Virginia, to supply the FKIT001, FKIT002 and FKIT007 fiber-optic tool kits. All these kits support the M28876, M83522 ST, and SC connector products that are approved by NAVSEA.
AFSI Fiber Optic Shipboard Kit
AFSI will now be able to include these submarine tool kits and shipboard to its existing line of NAVSEA approved products. Customers can avail all NAVSEA certified test equipment, MQJs connector products, and tools from either AFSI or its affiliated distributors.
Mark Roehm, Market Manager of AFSI, commented that they had to undergo a strenuous qualification process with NAVSEA to ensure delivery of quality product that enables their customers to comply with the demanding requirements of the United States Navy.
