NEW IonWorks Barracuda Automated High-Speed Patch Clamp System

This new system, which builds on the success of the IonWorks® Quattro System, provides the ability to simultaneously add compound while recording to measure both ligand- and voltage-gated ion channel modulation in all 384 wells of the Patch Plate consumable. Offering the highest throughput at an affordable price-per-data-point, the new IonWorks Barracuda System allows users to leverage electrophysiological assays for screening large, directed compound libraries as well as hit-to-lead and lead optimization studies.

NEW 96 Cell-Wash Head for the AquaMax 2000/4000 Microplate Washer

The new 96 Cell-Wash Head is designed specifically to meet the need of existing users for gentle, but thorough, washing of cells. A unique design uses angled pins to dispense fluid without disturbing cells, which helps ensure cell retention and integrity as well as optimal assay performance. Adjustable dispense rate and aspiration height allow users to minimize disruption of even weakly adherent cells to provide optimal washing conditions for even the most demanding cell-based assays, such as calcium flux, ELISA, and ion channel assays.

SpectraMax Multi-Mode Microplate Readers

The top-of-the-line SpectraMax® M5& M5e Microplate Readers and the recently introduced SpectraMax® M3 & M4 Microplate Readers offer flexible configurations across all commonly-used detection methods to accommodate a wide range of life sciences applications—from ELISAs to protein quantification to cell-based screens. Fully compatible with out-of-the-box automation solutions from long-standing business partners as well as the StakMax® Microplate Handling System, these multi-mode readers are ideal choices for researchers who need walk-away automation for microplate-based analyses.

ImageXpress High-Content Screening & Analysis Platform

The ImageXpress family of products includes everything researchers need to incorporate high-content screening and analysis into their drug discovery and optimization workflows, which includes image acquisition, storage, and analysis and data mining. This microscope-based platform includes the ImageXpress® Micro Wide-Field System and the ImageXpress® Ultra Confocal Imaging System to capture high-resolution images which precisely locate and identify sub-cellular features while ensuring excellent repeatability. Together with the industry-leading MetaXpress® PowerCore™ Image Acquisition & Analysis Software, ImageXpress Systems provides researchers insight into their images as quickly as they are acquired or faster. This solution is complemented by the IsoCyte High-Speed Scanning Cytometer by providing the best choice for low-, mid-, and high-throughput efforts targeted at generating multi-parametric data.
