Today from the ChannelPartners Conference & EXPO in Las Vegas, Mammoth Networks announced its continued nationwide expansion as a facilities-based reseller with the completion of its most recent fiber deployment, in Denver CO. Using Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) equipment, this installation was ‘lit’ on February 28, 2010, and can carry a signal of up to 10 Gigabits per second.
This new fiber will be used to aggregate rural exchange connectivity from around the Rocky Mountains. The company is able to deliver cost-effective, intrastate, high-speed connectivity to empower service providers based in rural markets that would otherwise be unfairly price-gouged by local and regional carriers. Mammoth Networks stands apart from other resellers as it maintains its own optical equipment and routers.

"Until October of 2009, we had been relying on a sole Internet carrier to provide our connection to the Internet. As reliable as it was, we knew that we needed to have a diverse path to the Internet. This is when we started talking to Mammoth Networks.
