TABS Unveils New Toshiba e-STUDIO MFP for SMBs

Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) continues its innovation leadership in the multifunction product (MFP) market with the launch of the new Toshiba e-STUDIO™181/182/242 series. Combining an array of advanced standard and optional features, these new low-range black and white models deliver cost-efficient productivity for small- and medium-sized businesses.

All three of the new models feature outstanding durability and reliability, ease of operation, high-volume utility and multifunction digital networking capabilities. The entire series also is Energy Star compliant, which translates to reduced running costs for the business, and features extended maintenance cycles and 100 percent waste-free toner recycling to help customers meet their own sustainability initiatives.

New Toshiba e-STUDIO(TM) MFPs Deliver Sophisticated Yet Cost-Efficient Technology for Small- and Medium-Size Businesses

“At Toshiba, we take a customer-centric approach, developing products and technologies that solve the needs expressed to us by our customers,” said Joseph Contreras, director, Product and Solutions Marketing, TABS. “These new models bring world-class Toshiba innovation to local businesses and home offices that previously found such functionality and networking abilities out of reach due to cost. We understand versatility is a must for the small business owner who needs a rugged machine that easily and economically keeps pace as their business rapidly grows and evolves, and that’s exactly what these three new models do.”

The Toshiba e-STUDIO181/182/242 series offers an impressive array of features, including standard 11” x 17” printing, copying and scanning, as well as optional network printing, scanning and faxing. It accommodates a variety of uses, whether there’s a frequent demand for high-volume printing in a compact space, or lower-volume printing required consistently over time with little maintenance and downtime.

“These models provide Toshiba dealers with additional product sales opportunities to a growing market of entrepreneurs and small businesses which are forming out of the downturned economy,” continued Contreras. “Recent surveys show small business entrepreneurs are more optimistic entering the New Year than they were in 2009, so we see this as an excellent opportunity to enhance the products and services our dealers can offer to this vital backbone of the American economy.”

These three new models also are exceptionally user-friendly, offering analog style ease of operation on a digital device. Print and scan functions are available through a built-in USB interface. Simplicity of design provides enhanced internal data transmission, unit accessibility, and superb handling. With a long 77,000/90,000 preventative maintenance cycle, customers can be assured that ease of use will remain continuous.
