Navitar Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Navitar, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of imaging and projection optics, is pleased to announce its Rochester, New York facility has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification. The scope of registration includes the design, development and manufacturing of optomechanical and optoelectronic assembly and sub-assembly.

The internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 standard is based on quality management principles such as strong customer focus, top management engagement, the process approach and continual improvement. Navitar was audited by DAC Audit Services and presented their certificate on July 1, 2019.

“Achieving ISO 9001 certification validates our commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. The entire organization was involved and embraced the idea. We have always strived to provide products of the highest quality and pride ourselves on our customer service,” comments Steven Morales, COO with Navitar. “The audit process helped us further enhance our procedures and systems, as well as strengthened communication and collaboration throughout the entire organization.”

Navitar’s ITAR registered production facility in Rochester, NY produces large volume OEM orders as well as complex, custom prototypes. Additional Navitar companies include Special Optics in Denville, NJ, Navitar Industries in San Ramon, CA and Pixelink Cameras in Ottawa, Canada.
