IDS Exhibit Industrial Camera Range at International Conference for Vision Guided Robotics, November 13 2013 at Georgia Tech

IDS Imaging Development Systems Gmbh, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of machine vision cameras, today announced it will showcase the latest additions to its family of digital industrial cameras at the upcoming  International Conference for Vision Guided Robotics (ICVGR), November 13, 2013, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta.

At this years show, IDS will highlight the Ensenso N10 3D stereo camera. Robust and compact, the camera works according to the "Projected Texture Stereo Vision" process. It features two integrated global shutter CMOS sensors and a projector which throws a random point pattern onto the object to be captured.

The outstanding advantage of this system is that it also works in multi-camera mode, and that images of surfaces with no texture can be captured. The camera's industrial usability is emphasized with a lockable, 3-pin M8-sensor/actuator connector with GPIOs for 12-24 V hardware trigger, input and output, and the lockable USB cable.

IDS continues to dominate the worldwide machine vision market with some of the industry's most advanced models, including the uEye XS, the world's smallest machine vision camera with autofocus.

Measuring a compact 23 x 26.5 x 21.5 mm (.9" x 1.04" x .84"), the uEye XS is amazingly simple to integrate into virtually any imaging system, ranging from interactive kiosks and embedded systems using the Raspberry Pi, to traditional applications in medical technology, industrial quality control, microscopy, and access control.
