JDSU to Demonstrate Latest Test Technology and Optical Communications Solutions at ECOC Expo
JDSU has invited the attendees of the European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communications (ECOC) – 2012, to have a look at its latest test technology solutions to be displayed at stall # 430. The ECOC is to be held between the 17tand 19 of September, 2012, at Amsterdam in Netherlands.
JDSU has planned to display and demonstrate at the ECOC some of its optical communications solutions that include the SP pump lasers and TrueFlex product range. Around 150,000 SP pump lasers have been delivered by the company to manufacturers of network equipment. The twin 1x20 wavelength selective switch is a first of its kind TrueFlex optical product that will be displayed by JDSU at the ECOC. Integrated line card products can be incorporated with the TrueFlex range of products to develop Self Aware Networks.
JDSU will also display receivers and modules that are used for 40 G and 100 G rated high-speed networks. Solutions are also offered by the company for 100 G and 40 G modules. The 100 G CFP2/CFP4 and 40G QSFP+ form factor products will also be displayed by the company. Demonstration involving the operation of JDSU’s Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexor (DWDM) SFP+ transceiver with tunable SFP+ will be performed for the attendees of the conference.
Optical handheld tools belonging to JDSU’s SmartClass Fiber Family will be displayed at the ECOC. These portable tools can be used to simplify a technician’s work as optical power measurements and automatic fiber certification are jointly integrated in them. Multichannel test solutions for 100 G transmission products will also be displayed at the conference. Test solution for CFP 4 and CFP 2 designs for 100 G networks will be demonstrated by experts from JDSU to selective invitees at the ECOC.
