Danish company, NKT Photonics has unveiled an advanced eco-system, which uses the company’s proprietary photonic crystal fiber technology.
The SuperK EXTREME system provides a number of products covering diverse power levels and spectra, and includes an accessory range comprising maximized spectral shaping choices, flexible wavelength tuning systems and variation of repetition rate for FLIM, fluorescence microscopy, FRET, flow cytometry, non-contact inspection and OCT applications.
NKT Photonics' SuperK EXTREME supercontinuum fiber laser
The supercontinuum fiber laser uses an enhanced software suite called SuperKontrol that enables complete PC control of the system via a direct graphic user interface. The system features an extra software development kit to enable users to satisfy their challenging vital timing progressions or activating requirements.
The SuperK EXTREME laser system and accessories features a specially designed on-board intelligence that allows users to link the modules without the requirement for a configuration. The laser system performs the deployment and control processes automatically.
The on-board intelligence enables users to improve the SuperK EXTREME to next spectra or power level and eliminates the hassle of returning the system to the plant. Users can develop and expand their supercontinuum fiber laser to suit their growing application requirements.
