Oclaro Introduces New Line of Laser Line Filters

Advanced laser solutions and optical communications provider, Oclaro has introduced new laser line filters called Clarity.

The filters are exclusively developed to control amplified spontaneous emissions (ASE), which normally take place in Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) laser equipment, and to enhance the signal to noise functionality of laser equipment.

The Clarity can decrease the background sound on the laser, which in turn offers high-quality signal to noise functionality for customers of laser producers. It is suitable for analytical and life sciences industries. The filters, when combined with Oclaro laser diodes, remove the dependency on various suppliers for vital parts. This in turn reduces the associated expenditures and the product can be brought into the market quickly.

The telecom market has significantly benefited from the production excellence and technological brilliance of Oclaro, and now the solid-state laser market customers will stand to benefit the same from new laser filters.
