The adaptive Ethernet fiber converters of GAO Fiber Optics are used in long-distance 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet transmission network. These fiber converters have been designed for application in optical-to-electrical medium conversion.
The company’s fiber converter line offers easy network upgrading, minimizes broadcast packets, and conducts flow control. The models of the 10/100Mbps converter series include MA830AS, MA830AP, MA830ACS, MA830AC, and MA830A. The fiber converters perform mutual conversion between optical signals of the 100Base-FX and the electrical signals of 10Base-T/100Base-TX pair. In addition, these converters extend the network transmission distance.
The fast Ethernet fiber converters feature applications such as forwarding, storing and switching technology. The fiber converters support transmission in single-fiber single-mode, dual-fiber single-mode, and dual-fiber multi-mode fibers. These Ethernet converters have the ability to operate for longer durations and consume less power.
