Founders of RAYLASE Receive EPIC Phoenix Award 2016 that Recognizes Entrepreneurship in Photonics

RAYLASE Group has its headquarters in Weßling, Germany and a subsidiary in China, located in Shenzhen. Both entities are doing production of components, submodules and software to deflect, modulate and control laser beams in a broad variety of applications e.g. marking, drilling, cutting, engraving and welding in growing and demanding markets worldwide.

AANS 2016: New Results Support Use of Monteris Medical’s NeuroBlate System for Brain Lesions

Monteris Medical today announced new data from two separate studies supporting the use of its NeuroBlate® System for brain lesions were presented at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) 84th Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place from April 30 – May 4. Data evaluating customized 3D printed mini-platforms in laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) were also presented at the meeting.

ESO’s Latest Facility Upgrade Features Four New TOPTICA Guide Star Lasers on Cerro Paranal

On April 26th, the impressive Four-Laser Guide Star Facility (4LGSF) was fully operational for the first time at the European Southern Observatory’s (ESO) Very Large Telescope (VLT) of the Paranal Observatory in Chile. During the preceding verification phase, a team of TOPTICA and ESO engineers successfully completed the required system tests. This is a major step towards the completion of the Adaptive Optics Facility (AOF) and evident proof of the capability of TOPTICA’s ground-breaking guide star solution.
