Dilas Broadens Wavelength Spectrum with Addition of Conduction-Cooled Diode Laser

DILAS, the diode laser company, broadens its wavelength spectrum with the addition of a new series of high-power, conduction-cooled, fiber-coupled diode laser bars at 639nm and 650nm.

Ideal for applications within the medical and display markets, these fiber-coupled bars can deliver up to 5 watts CW output power from a 400 micron fiber with a numerical aperture of <0.22, making it the highest performing visible diode laser bar commercially available today.

DILAS’ fiber coupled modules are based on conduction cooled diode laser bars and feature sealed, shock and vibration tested packaging.

To give OEMs the maximum flexibility their designs deserve, DILAS offers optional features such as power monitor, fiber detection sensor, user-exchangeable protection window, pilot beam and temperature sensor – all of which can be combined with in a space <30mm high. Like all DILAS laser diodes, each bar is manufactured to the industry’s highest standards, resulting in stable sources with the highest beam quality.
