Fujifilm has launched Acuity LED 1600, a printer compatible with UV-curable ink, featuring durable lifetime and energy-efficient LED light source. It finds applications in in-store POP, creating huge posters, and window displays. Acuity LED 1600 features yield of 20 m²/ h, apart from ensuring remarkable quality in image.
The new Acuity LED 1600 is an efficient, wide-format inkjet printer that features accurate and fast printhead, proprietary-design LED light source and quickly drying UV-LED ink. The proprietary, speedy, high precision Marking technology of Fujifilm, ensures productivity of 20 m²/ hr thereby meeting the customer’s needs on time. The printer supports eight common colors such as yellow, magenta, cyan, light cyan, black, white, light magenta, and clear. It is incorporated with the intelligent curing control technology for managing ink curing profile on printing substrates for better ink-substrate affinity, providing the printer with smooth gradation and improved color reproduction.
The ability to use clear and color ink at the same time produces a shining appearance and improves the quality of output.
The printer incorporates Spot Color Matching software to provide a color comparison chart with respect to the required color output, achieving synchronisation in matching spot colors, thereby assisting in decreasing the load of print designers.
The Acuity LED1600 will be displayed at the international printing equipment exhibition IGAS 2011, Tokyo Big Sight from September 16 to 21, 2011 and at GRAPHEXPO 2011, Chicago, IL, U.S.A. from September 11 to14, 2011.
