A provider of welding using CO2 lasers and micro-hole laser drilling solutions, Advanced Laser Technologies has started custom manufacturing and engineering laser welded assemblies.
The assemblies do not need mechanical secondary operations and are cleaner when compared to the TIG welded assemblies. They incorporate distortion-free welding, drilling, and cutting without a heat affected zone or fillers.
The laser welded assemblies are custom manufactured and engineered by utilizing CO2 lasers or Nd:YAG and can be developed from nickel-base alloys, Inconel, and stainless steel. The company has the potential to laser drill, cut, and weld metals up to a maximum of 0.300”. It can also weld depths up to 0.030” and drill holes that measure 0.005”. The company is ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2004 REV. B. certified, GE approved for laser cutting, drilling and airflow and is approved for NADCAP specifications. The company also manufactures electronic, aviation, and aerospace components and incorporates processes such as threading and bending.
