MIKROTRON GmbH was established in 1976 in Eching near Munich, Bavaria.
In the early days, the engineers developed electronic circuits and microprocessor programs. Despite the sustained increase of success in industrial image processing, the segment industrial electronic even today remains an important business segment of the company.
Today, MIKROTRON is a renowned manufacturer of small and especially robust high-speed cameras on the international market of industrial image processing. The digital high-speed cameras have excellent technical characteristics, e.g. with regard to resolution and photo sensitivity, and are being used for industrial and scientific applications, as well as in sports analysis, advertisements or documentaries.
Our broad scope of products is on the one hand result of consequently developing camera technology with an innovative team of engineers and computer scientists. On the other hand the experience from development, production, sales, service and support is integrated into the production process.
