Lantiq GPON Chips Selected by Cambridge to Design Compact ONTs

Cambridge Industries Group (CIG), a designer and manufacturer of optical network termination (ONT) units has chosen Lantiq, a supplier of broadband access and home networking technology, to utilize Lantiq’s FALC ON ONT System-on-Chip (SoC) ICs for combining into its advanced customer premise equipment (CPE) has opted for FALC ON chips to create a series of compact ONT units having increased energy savings and efficient optical network.
