In 1981 We fabricated small optical components. The Borescopes & Accessories Repair Facility was established in 1985 due to the need for a U.S Service and Repair facility that would centralize repair and overhaul of Borescopes and accessories in one location, regardless of manufacturer and/or model of borescope and related equipment and to do so quickly without a lot of ¡§red tape¡¨
The concept worked well and eventually the manufacturing of our own line of fiberscopes, incorporating the best features available, became the next level in our growth.
As videoscopes replaced the fiberscopes for larger engine applications in the late nineties, we focused in small engine requirements, producing a line of economical fiberscopes and videoscopes at the smaller diameters and with the features required in these applications. Our videoscope line now includes a full range of small and large diameter units.
The economies of off-shore production and warehousing has driven us to establish factories and joint ventures for the manufacture and distribution of the product lines. These economies are passed on to the market without a sacrifice in quality or service. We pride in our motto, "Large enough to compete, small enough to care".
