ImmerVision Signs Deal to Widen Availability of its 360° Panoramic Lenses to Security Market

ImmerVision, inventor of the panomorph lens and worldwide expert in 360° immersive video technology, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Northern Video Systems, one of the leading wholesale distributors of security, surveillance and IP video products in the U.S. Northern Video Systems will help expand the availability of ImmerVision’s 360° panoramic lenses to the security integrator market.

“The combination of ImmerVision’s lens and software can take an ordinary camera and create extraordinary 360° images. This intriguing technology will certainly find its way into many advanced security solutions,” said Brian James, Vice President, Northern Video Systems, Inc.

“By partnering with a distributor like Northern Video Systems, ImmerVision enhances its ability to reach security integrators with its patented 360-degree Panomorph optics,” said Sanford Green, ImmerVision’s Director, USA Sales and Operations – Video Surveillance Applications.

ImmerVision IMV1-1/3 panomorph lenses outperform older fisheye lenses and are the only 360° lenses that plug and play with major CCTV and IP cameras brand and with “ImmerVision Enables” VMS, DVR and NVR.

Headquartered in Rocklin, Calif., Northern Video Systems has sales and distribution centers in Cranbury, N.J. and Lockhart, Texas, as well as a nationwide sales force.
