Casio America, Inc., and its parent company, Casio Computer Co., Ltd., today unveiled four new models in its award-winning EXILIM product line. Advancing the company’s performance-driven digital camera offerings, each new model builds on Casio’s tradition of delivering technological innovation and creativity to users.
The first, the HIGH SPEED EXILIM® EX-FH100, featuring Casio’s heralded high-speed burst shooting, ensures users never miss a crucial shot again and packs a high-power zoom lens into a compact body. The next three, the EXILIM EX-H15, EX-Z2000 and EX-Z550 all feature Casio’s unique Dynamic Photo™function that lets users edit and combine different moving images right on the camera.
Casio also announced a revolutionary new digital imaging product that transforms ordinary digital photographs into works of fine art. Utilizing a “snapshot-to-painting conversion” function to render digital photographs into creative and personalized artistic expressions, Casio’s Digital Art Frame is unlike any conventional digital photo frame on the market. Going beyond simply decorating a home or office with a revolving view of favorite photographs, Casio’s new product can actually create original photographic artwork from digital images, making it more enjoyable than ever to share images with friends and family.
And finally, the company announced the creation a mercury-free laser & LED hybrid light source, capable of high-brightness projection for use in the next-generation projectors. Use of the laser & LED hybrid light source makes Casio’s GREEN SLIM projectors the world’s first data projectors bright enough (2,000-3,000 lumens) for projection in a well lit room without using a high-pressure mercury lamp. Additional qualities include: the projector produces bright colors through upgraded color purity, the light source has a life of approximately 20,000 hours, projection at maximum brightness is possible in a minimum of eight seconds and no cool down is needed when turning the projectors off.
