Jörg Thäle Takes Over production at Os-ram Opto Semiconductors

At the start of this year Jörg Thäle (42) was appointed to the Managing Board of Os-ram Opto Semiconductors with responsibility for production.

He takes over from Claus Regitz (48) who will supersede Dr. Jörg Schaefer (64) on April 1, 2006 as the new Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Osram.

After completing his studies in mechanical engineering Jörg Thäle started working as a designer at Osram in Herbrechtingen, later acting as a project manager at various sites in Germany and abroad. Before moving to Osram Opto Semiconductors he was a technical manager at Radium, an Osram subsidiary. Jörg Thäle is married and has three children.
