Luxinar Debuts AOM Laser Technology for High-Precision Applications at IMTEX FORMING 2026 in India

Leading laser manufacturer Luxinar is proud to exhibit its sealed CO2 laser sources and support its Indian agent, LaseCo Technologies, in Hall 4, Stand C106, for the second time during IMTEX FORMING. The event will take place from January 21 to 25, 2026, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru, India.

On its stand, Luxinar will showcase the SR 25 AOM sealed CO2 laser source with an integrated acousto-optic modulator (AOM) developed for high-precision applications that require a significantly higher switching speed for faster scan speeds or a reduced heat-affected zone (HAZ).

The SR 25 AOM is available at a wavelength of 9.3 µm and with a rated power of 150 W, and its integrated AOM creates 60 times faster optical rise and fall times of less than 1 µs, which can minimize unnecessary heat energy from typical pulse rise/fall times of approximately 60 µs.

The AOM range , which also includes the 75 W-rated SR 10 AOM, provides superior pulse-to-pulse control, output power stability and an integrated and field-replaceable RF power supply for ease of installation and servicing at customer sites. Due to its precise pulse control, the SR AOM series is ideal for a variety of fast high-precision processes such as microfilm cutting and backlight engraving in the flat panel display market or scribing of brittle materials that need less HAZ, like ceramics or graphite, as used in electronics or battery cell manufacturing.

Yannick Galais, Luxinar's Sales Director, stated: "We look forward to supporting our distributor LaseCo and showcasing our laser sources to the Indian market again at IMTEX FORMING. With more than 25 years of experience in the laser industry, Luxinar's range of CO2 lasers stands out from the competition due to their proven reliability, flexibility and throughput."
