Signal and power integrity are critical for the reliable operation of electronic systems in space. At the show, Rohde & Schwarz demonstrates high-resolution oscilloscopes for precise analysis and optimization of digital interfaces and power supplies to locate faults and improve system performance.

Advancements in satellite communication testing now support 5G NTN and LEO constellations with realistic fading scenarios, Doppler shifts up to 1.9 MHz, and frequencies up to 67 GHz. The R&S SMW200A vector signal generator and the new R&S FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer enable reliable, high-performance systems, paving the way for future innovations in ultra-high-frequency satellite communications.

The R&S ZNB vector network analyzer streamlines satellite component testing with high precision, wide frequency coverage up to 43.5 GHz, and fast measurement speeds. Its advanced analysis tools and multiport capabilities ensure reliable performance evaluation, supporting innovation in satellite communications and next-generation aerospace technologies.

The handheld vector network analyzer R&S ZNH enables fast fault detection in cables and antennas, supports full S-parameter analysis up to 26.5 GHz, and offers user-friendly operation, ensuring reliable performance and minimizing downtime in critical communication infrastructure.

Non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) enable communication via satellite and play an increasingly important role in connecting remote areas and supporting IoT applications. Rohde & Schwarz demonstrates solutions for testing and validating NTN systems to ensure interoperability and performance for a seamless and reliable communication experience. The CMX500 radio communication tester performs as an all-in-one solution for advanced satellite communication with multiband and multi-orbit support for NR-NTN device testing. Visitors can experience the tester’s robust capabilities simulating satellite constellations, complemented by a new Constellation Insight tool, which simplifies the configuration and deployment of these networks.

Rohde & Schwarz will be present at the booth with electronic manufacturing services. The company supports manufacturers in meeting the strict quality standards of spaceflight and ensuring high production yields as well as handling this component manufacturing and related services directly for their customers.

Pia Feurstein, Solution Manager at Rohde & Schwarz, specialized in satellite communications, will speak at the panel about “Navigating Technical and Spectrum Licensing Challenges” on Day 2 at 11.15 am. In this panel, speakers will break down the regulatory hurdles that shape every mission, from licensing and spectrum access to international coordination and ground infrastructure.

Rohde & Schwarz will be exhibiting at Space Tech Expo in Bremen from November 18 to November 20 at the bavAIRia e.V. joint booth number #J53 in hall 5.
