P&P Optica to Participate in Canadian Technology Accelerator Program

P&P Optica Inc., a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of high-performance optical spectrometers, has been selected as one of eight Canadian companies to participate in the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program in Boston.

This intensive three-month program at the Cambridge Innovation Centre (CIC), launched by Gerald Keddy , Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade, provides the selected companies with unique resources in the Boston Area, as well as mentoring by business leaders, trade commission advisers, and venture capitalists. The program aims to "grow innovative Canadian life science companies in a global commercialization hub" while also enabling new partnerships with companies based in the New England area.

Olga Pawluczyk , P&P Optica's President and CEO, stated, "P&P Optica is excited to spend three months at CIC to create new connections and to utilize the Boston Area talent and resources to support our growth." P&P Optica was selected together with Mindful Scientific Inc., Biomedical Implant Technology Inc., Sentimed Medical Corporation, Arazy Group, Equals6, TasteFilter Intuitive Discovery and HInext Inc. for the CTA program.
