AMS Technologies has entered into a distribution agreement with EXFO, a Tier-1 test and measurement expert in the global telecommunications industry. The agreement includes the sales in Germany of optical equipment for lab and manufacturing testing applications.
It comprises building blocks for manufacturing test systems and turnkey systems for cable assembly and component testing. Among a vast range of instruments, there are namely power meters, variable attenuators, multi-wavelength meters, optical switches and integrated test systems.
The EXFO IQS line of test instruments enables broadband component companies to do testing on switches, DWDM, CWDM, VOAs, etc. All main testing applications for connectors, cable assemblies and splitters (eg. PON couplers, WDM couplers, specialty filters, etc.) are also applicable. In addition to that, calibration and systems testing applications (EDFAs, SOAs, Raman devices, Rx, Tx, etc.) are made possible.
EXFO high-end instruments deliver the transport/datacom and optical test technologies required to qualify product's performance parameters. EXFO's test solutions adapt to all R&D and manufacturing test and measurement needs.
