Magnalight Unveils Four Leg Aluminum Tower-Base LED Work Light

Larson Electronics’ Magnalight has declared the launch of a dynamic and portable LED tower light that ensures high stability with simple deployment.

Magnalight 40 Watt LED Aluminum Light Tower

Magnalight’s WAL-QP-P10W-40X2E-25 quadpod mounted work area LED light delivers high intensity light up to 3,340 lm, consuming only 40 W of power. Its high output LED light head has been designed to produce flood beam that can extend to an area measuring 140' in length by 120' in width. The tower has been designed in such a way to comply with the lighting demands of the Illinois DOT for roadside flagger lighting, and delivers 150 ft candles at chest height and 30 ft candles, bordering a diameter of 10 ft around the flagger.

The LED light head generates more radiant and whiter light compared to typical incandescent lamps. The resulting color reproduction and high contrast capability enhance the visibility of workers to the approaching traffic. Made up of heavy gauge aluminum, the tower on this lighting system is robust and durable. The four leg quadpod base ensures increased stability and resistance to extreme conditions compared to traditional three leg light towers. The tower can be adjusted from 5 to 14 ft tall and can be locked at desired height using t-handle lock screws. The tower can be folded using folding legs and a removable center mast for easy transport.

The LED light head is IP68 rated, sealed against dust and dirt, waterproof and has excellent capability to withstand impacts and vibrations. The 40 W LED light head generates double light output with 100 W halogen lamps. It has extended operation for 50,000 h. This tower has been equipped to permanently mounted transformer ensuring efficient operation with common 120/277 V AC current. Furthermore, the 25 ft high cord enables connection to worksite generators.
