Optical Express Expands Laser Eye Surgery in the European Market

Following its expansion efforts in establishing new clinics, Optical Express has become a leading provider of laser eye surgery in the UK.

Located in the UK, this refractive clinic has established five new clinics since early 2012, with its laser surgery services being offered in around 200 locations throughout Britain.

Since 2002, Optical Express has been the leading service provider in the industry owing to its steady investment in technological advances. Each week, more procedures are being achieved in the clinic than any other provider.

The clinic has invested more than £1 M in each laser eye surgery clinic. It has procured sophisticated equipment like the advanced VISX S4IR.

Optical Express is the only provider of laser eye surgery in the entire nation to incorporate IFS 150 Intralase treatment technology within the clinic. The IFS 150 surpasses the technology deployed by other UK providers. IFS 150 combines LASIK flap creation within refractive surgery to achieve a new standard of speed and precision.

Advanced CustomVue Wavefront technology favors LASIK as well as LASEK eye surgery procedures that are being offered in every Optical Express clinic. It also facilitates further customization of treatment for higher order aberrations within the eye.

ActiveTrak 3-D technology works concurrently with Wavefront technology. It monitors the slightest movements of the eye in all 3D, thereby promoting laser axis centered within 50 µ even when the eye moves during the treatment.
