Opgal to Demonstrate New Thermal Camera at IFSEC International 2012

Opgal Optronic Industries, a supplier of near IR illumination and innovative thermal imaging solutions recently declared that it will unveil the extensive EyeSecZoom 225 at IFSEC 2012. This advanced addition complements Opgal’s innovative series of thermal security cameras.

Opgal is the first camera producer to present an uncooled thermal camera having reliability and consistent zoom performance as that of a cooled camera, which is reflected in this new offering.

The EyeSecZoom 225 has an in-built continuous zoom lens with 25 to 225mm range. It ensures over 5 km of human detection range. Its uncooled 640 x 480 resolution detector equipped with a 17ìm pitch is highly-sensitive and generates a clean and clear picture. It serves as an excellent visual assessment tool, effective for a wide range of perimeter and homeland security applications, including transportation, airports, correction facilities, etc,. The camera is safely housed within a rugged compartment and therefore not affected by harsh environmental and climatic conditions such as high humidity, rain, dust and direct sunlight.

Of all the products in Opgal's thermal imaging solutions series, the innovative EyeSecZoom 225 is ideal for video analytics. Its remarkable image quality and powerful signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) makes it outstanding. The EyeSecZoom 225 is being offered in multiple configurations, with options including stand-alone camera or as an OEM sensor combined with the client’s surveillance system. The camera complies with IP66 standards.
