JDSU to Showcase Innovative Solutions at OFC-NFOEC 2012

JDSU has recently declared that it will display novel solutions from its product array of optical communications and communications test and measurement, at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference/National Fiber Optics Engineers Conference (OFC/NFOEC) in Los Angeles, California scheduled from March 6-8, 2012.

Participants at the conference attendees are welcome to explore JDSU’s recent technology innovations.

JDSU will exhibit an extensive array of innovative solutions such as:

• Comprehensive tunable and 40 - 100G transmission solutions including advanced QSFP+ client-side modules and 40G coherent transponders that provide affordable, high density, and energy-efficient solutions for 40 - 100G transmissions. In addition, the tunable SFP+ module utilizes low power and ideal for higher-density 10G tunable applications.
• Improved fiber optic test line of products includes monitoring, and testing system solutions and a complete array of portable fiber optic test instruments. Furthermore, it features the MAP-200 Patchcord tester for multimode and singlemode systems for production line testing and a new in-band dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) test module for the T-BERD/MTS-8000.
• TrueFlex products for Self Aware Networks feature hybrid Raman-erbium amplifier, a dual multi-cast switch, optical channel monitor, and EDFA array; and the premier twin WSS, which enables producers of network equipment to have flexible grid spacing and excellent performance for network speeds over 100G.
• The comprehensive 100G test solutions including extensive test solutions that supports each of 40 - 100G, such as JDSU ONT products that leverages OTU3, OTU4, 40GE/100GE, and the new 40 - 100G client services board for the ONT-100G. This is the first 100G test created for specific production applications.
