LightPointe has introduced the novel 70/80 GHz 4G backhaul range of products. The newly introduced products are part of the AireBeam Series of the long and medium range Ethernet solutions.
The technology used in these bridges are compliant with the latest North American Part 101 and European EN 302 217 regulations. These Ethernet bridges can be used in Germany, England, Switzerland and Austria.
The president of LightPointe claimed that the AireBeam Series is made up of advanced parts like high gain antennas which consume the lowest power and lowest latency amongst those in the industry. The AireBeam series of products are suited for high bandwidth carrier networks like the LTE. LTE networks are used by service providers such as Vodafone, A1/Mobilkom, and France Telecom/Orange etc. The AireBeam Series come with connectivity options such as the RJ45 copper, SM Fiber connectors or MM that are driven by PoE. The products from LightPointe provide maximum security and are compatible with 4G architectures as they are equipped with carrier grade SNMPv.2 and the LightPointe Dual Path networking port. The SNMP traps, RMON Counters, separate RS232 terminal connections provide features such as alarm reporting. For proper aligning and monitoring of the bridges, a dedicated range of multi-function displays on the backside of the panels coupled with the RSSI that receive signal graph from LightPointe are provided. LEDs are used for status indication in networks.
