LED Lighting Kit Simplifies Development of Lighting Fixtures

Digi-Key, a distributor of electronic component solutions, has inked an agreement with RECOM, Molex, and Cree to provide an LED lighting kit.

The all-in-one CXA2011 Lamp LED lighting kit is based on Cree’s XLamp platform and integrates the reliability, ease-of-use, and performance of LED arrays. The lighting kit simplifies the development of LED lighting fixtures.

Digi-Key encourages the LED designers by providing all the required components, including an LED array, power supply, connectors, and heat sink in a versatile and convenient kit. The company’s VP of Semiconductor Product Division, Mark Zack stated that the company is pleased to collaborate with RECOM, Molex, and Cree to provide the all-in-one LED lighting solution. He added that the company has emphasized on versatility and simplicity in the lighting kit by enabling shorter design cycles and swift demonstrations.

Digi-Key has also developed a step-by-step video on YouTube to streamline the process of assembling the lighting kit. The company is acknowledged by design engineers as having a wide range of electronic solutions for immediate shipment.
