Cutera to Launch Excel V Laser System in Europe with CE Mark Approval

Global supplier of laser and similar energy-based aesthetic solutions, Cutera proclaimed that it has secured the approval of CE Mark to introduce its Excel V laser system to the European market.

Cutera’s Excel V laser system is a future-generation vascular workstation developed particularly for the primary market of the plastic physicians and dermatologists. According to the President and Chief Executive Officer at Cutera, Kevin Connors, the company is happy about the approval of the CE Market and European introduction of the Excel V vascular laser.

Connors further said that the dermatology community has shown great interest in the Excel V laser system since its introduction at the American Academy of Dermatology in February 2011. The system is based on the Nd:YAG laser technology of Cutera and the new high-power green technology, offering the physicians the potential to cure the complete range of vascular conditions, including both deep and the superficial. This is highly significant as vascular treatments are the main practice of a laser dermatologist, he added.
