CONEC, a manufacturer of connectors catering to the electronics and communications industries, has added fiber-optic duplex LC connectors to it series of water-resistant connectors.
These connectors have an IP67 rating and are designed for use in harsh environments. They have mechanical stability, vibration immunity, and temperature resistance and provide protection from moisture and contamination.

The IP67-rated LC connectors feature a silicone ring seal that ensures a dust and weather -proof and watertight connection with the panels. They have a 1/6th turn bayonet coupling that enables quick and secure mating and unmating. The connectors are available in two types of housing materials – either as black plastic or as nickel-plated, zinc die-cast housings. These housings are UV resistant, chemical resistant and tolerant to physical abuse and the connectors are duplex LC type in multimode, APC and single mode types.
The duplex LC type connectors are available in single and multi-modes and APC types.CONEC also offers a Multi-Mode 50/125µm cable option. The LC connector product family includes mating plugs, protective caps, panel-mounted receptacles and pre-terminated jumper cables for outdoor use.
The CONEC IP67-rated LC connectors are suitable for surveillance and security equipment applications.
