Timbercon Launches MTP Coupler/Splitters for Splitting Signals

Manufacturer of fiber-optic products, Timbercon announced that the MTP Coupler/Splitters is available for various industries and applications.

Timbercon has offered MTP solutions for numerous applications, and has standardized the common configurations for Coupler/Splitters by utilizing ribbonized fiber.

The Coupler/Splitters are utilized for integrating two or more signals into one signal, or for splitting a signal into many paths. The MTP Coupler/Splitters come in 1x4, 1x3, and 1x2 configurations with 24, 12, 8, or 4 ribbonized fibers. Both single-mode and multimode (OM2 or OM3) fiber choices are available with elite or standard ferrule. It can be custom configured for numerous applications, and can be either integrated in 19" rack-mount or bench-top configurations, or packaged in individual modules.

Timbercon’s VP of Sales and Marketing, John Lee Jr. stated that the MTP Coupler/Splitters are developed to address various customer needs, and allow the utilization of high-density MTP connectors for the technology.
