New Tunable Laser Source from Photon

Photon etc, manufacturer of Bragg grating spectroscopic and hyperspectral imaging instruments, has introduced a new tunable laser source that serve as a wavelength calibrating tool for radiometric and photometric instruments such as telescopes. The laser source can also calibrate the UV-VIS-NIR spectrometers.

The broadband source is also used as a Raman, photoluminescence, and fluorescence excitation source for bio-nano materials. The laser power source is based on the Photon’s  filtering technology and the Leukos Supercontinuum sources, and provides wavelength with an accuracy of up to 0.1 nm, a precision of up to 0.05 nm and a FWHM of 0.3-3 nm. The tunable laser delivers an output power of 100µW/nm, and includes Photon’s user-friendly software, PHySpec.
