According to Infonetics Research, ECI Telecom now controls 25% market share of India’s optical network hardware sector. Interestingly, ECI has become a major telecom service provider in India through its advanced network solutions.

According to the report, the optical network hardware market has declined significantly in view of economic downturn; however, the Asia Pacific market experienced a significant growth last year. In view of increased synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) spending for wireless applications, India’s telecommunication market is anticipated to show the fastest growth among all the APAC countries in the upcoming years.
ECI Telecom India’s President, Kiran Pande, stated that the company will leverage the positive outlook of India’s telecommunication market to provide flexible network solutions, which will help address the specific requirements of individual network operators and customers.
