Future Lighting Solutions to Supply Nuventix’ LED Cooling Solutions

Nuventix announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Future Lighting Solutions. The agreement allows Nuventix’ LED cooling solutions to be supplied by Future Lighting Solutions. These solutions maximize the LED lifetime and brightness of the solid-state lights by dissipating heat in small spaces like spotlights and downlights.

The distribution agreement enables Nuventix solutions to reach to 169 locations across 41 countries in Asia, Asia, and Europe. The products will also be supplied by Future Lighting Solutions’ parent company, Future Electronics. The distribution agreement also allows Nuventix customers to access Future Lighting Solutions’ engineering resources and online tools.

The SynJet active cooling technology from Nuventix has been designed for the solid-state lighting. The SynJet unit generates turbulent air-jets and sends them to the areas where chip or LED cooling is required. The air moving devices of SynJet consume less power and reduce luminaire footprint. These fanless devices also reduce the luminaire’s weight by minimizing the heat sink mass.

Future Lighting Solutions’ Corporate VP, Jamie Singerman, stated that the SynJet thermal management product has advantages such as a cooling lifetime of 100,000 hours, low power usage, and availability of products that are customized to suit Lexel LED and Philips Fortimo module systems.
