Ace Glass was founded in 1936 in Vineland, NJ. For seventy years, Ace has stood out as a leader and an innovator of scientific glass, lab equipment and glass apparatus. Thousands and thousands of scientific papers, research and discoveries have been attributed to Ace Glass products over our long history. Many U.S. Pharmacopeia, ASTM, NIST, EPA and other agency protocols call out Ace products for particular research and testing procedures. Ace Glass innovations and inventions include several very unique products during our history such as, the first American made spherical joints and sintered-glass fritted disks. Ace designed and patented the first internally threaded glassware – Ace Threds®, Ace Trubore® Precision Bore Tubing and other products which are detailed in our Proprietary Products section. Ace also invented our very unique, Instatherm® oil baths. Ace Glass has been a major contributor and manufacturer to both small and large companies around the world for seventy-years and was a major supplier to the U. S. Defense Department during WWII. We manufactured several products that were used in electronic components and systems as well as for weapons. Ace Glass was highly involved in the famous Manhattan Project. Ace Glass is very proud not only of our rich history, but of our employees as well. Many Ace employees have service that ranks in the 30, even 50 year range of employment. Ace Glass continues our strong tradition and still manufactures scientific glass and equipment today in Vineland, NJ. Ace Glass has over 50,000 square feet of production space which includes one of the largest glass lathes and one of the largest annealing ovens in the United States. Ace has over 27,000 square feet of warehouse space with a significant investment in inventory of Ace, Heidolph, IKA, Glas-Col and Corning products to provide outstanding service and quality for our customers. Ace is the only glass company that actually assembles and produces electronic equipment in-house as well as our lab glass ware products. Ace now manufactures glass pilot plant systems up to 200-Liters in size, complete with all controls and accessory equipment. Ace can also fabricate custom labware, pilot plant reactors and systems to meet your requirements.
